 * PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE UPDATING TO VERSION 1.1 *

When updating from version 1.0 to 1.1 do the following:

 * Edit the file 'slic.config'
      - Enter the address of the sign-on server
      - Enter your username and password
      - Look through the 'slic.config' file to see if you
        need to change anything else.

      NOTE: If you change the install path you MUST set the
      install path in the Makefile to the same value!

 
 * To compile and update issue the command 'make update' (as root).


 * When updating to version 1.1 you'll have to convert your costfile
   to the new format before you can use it. A program called
   costconvert is included in this package. To convert the costfile
   enter the directory where slic is installed (probably 
   /usr/local/stofaControl/) and issue (as root) the command
          ./costconvert
   When the program completes your costfile is converted and ready
   to run with slic 1.1.


 * For further information about configuring and running slic 
   please do a 'man slic' after the slic has been installed.


 * Now you are finished! Enjoy!
