  WHAT'S NEW IN VERSION 1.1?

  NEW NAME
  The major thing that has  been changed  since version 1.0 is 
  actually  the name of the program.  The program is from this
  point renamed from  'stofa' to  'slic'.  The reason for this 
  change is  the fact that most  existing  Stofanet connectors 
  for Linux  are called  'stofa'.  By renaming  to ' slic' any
  ambiguity is avoided. If you prefer the name 'stofa' you can
  choose to set up a symlink of this name during installation.


  PROGRAM FOR CONVERTING COST-FILE
  Because version 1.1  uses a cost-file in a different  format 
  that the one  of  version 1.0,  it is necessary  to  convert
  from  the  old  format  to  the new one.  A program  (called
  'costconvert') has been added to the slic package  to enable
  this conversion.  When the  cost-file is converted,  you can 
  use your old cost-file with the new version of  slic without 
  loosing the usage-information archived in your old file. 


  NEW FEATURES
  The  additions to the program as  described in the following 
  are  mostly due to user requests.  The major  additions are:
  *  The possibility to set a  maximum allowed  monthly usage. 
     If this limit is exceeded, slic refuses to run. The limit
     is compiled into the program at  install-time, and  there
     is no way to 'cheat' if the limit is exceeded (other than
     to recompile and reinstall the program).
  *  Usage statistics:  When an auto-mode  session  is  ended, 
     you will be able to see among other things the percentage 
     of time the connection  was  established  during the just
     terminated  session  (a session is terminated by  sending 
     the process the  SIG_TERM or  SIG_INT signal (for example 
     by pressing the CTRL-C key)).
  *  Usage statistics:  It is now  possible to  read the usage
     for the current (calendar) month.
  *  Extended  error-messages  on sign-on  failure  (including 
     the response from the sign-on server) is printed out.
  The above changes are a result from user suggestions. If you
  have any good ideas that you think could improve the program
  please  submit  them  to the  "Slic idea-list"  which can be

  BUG-FIXES
  No bugs has been  corrected  since none has  been  reported!
